Patrick Delaney is Special Counsel at Southside Legal, where he manages a diverse portfolio of professional negligence and personal injury claims. His practice encompasses public liability, medical negligence, workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accidents, and institutional child abuse matters. Patrick’s unique background combines clinical expertise with legal acumen. Having first qualified as a physiotherapist in 2004, he gained valuable experience in clinical roles and insurance claims management before being admitted as a solicitor. This multidisciplinary experience enhances his ability to understand the complexities of injury and professional negligence claims, enabling him to advocate effectively for clients across Queensland and New South Wales. Committed to supporting clients through challenging times, Patrick aims to empower them to regain control amid uncertainty. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Exercise Science from Griffith University, as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales. Patrick is an active member of the Queensland Law Society and the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
