Katie Caldow

Katie Caldow is a Partner at Southside Legal, where she manages the Queensland Compensation and Estate practices. With extensive experience in litigation, Katie has built her career handling matters across a broad spectrum of areas including personal injuries, strata and body corporate law, professional negligence, consumer law, defamation, estates, and general civil disputes. She represents clients in both Queensland and New South Wales jurisdictions, having previously practiced with Chambers Russell Lawyers in Sydney. Katie is committed to delivering positive outcomes for her clients and takes a trauma-informed approach to her work, ensuring sensitivity and understanding throughout the legal process. She holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Southern Queensland. Katie is an active member of the Queensland Law Society, Australian Lawyers Alliance, Strata Community Association (Qld), Gold Coast District Law Association Inc, Greater Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce, and the Human Rights Law Association. She has contributed to the profession through writing and presenting papers focused on personal injuries litigation, particularly the intersection of strata and body corporate law with personal injury liability.
