Jacinta Hamilton

Jacinta Hamilton is the principal and director of the firm, bringing experience that dates back to 2016 when the practice was known as Matthew Verney Lawyers. She has been leading the firm since late 2021, offering a broad range of legal services tailored to meet the needs of clients on the North-West Coast. Jacinta’s expertise encompasses property conveyancing, including buying and selling homes and investment properties, as well as the sale and purchase of businesses. She handles lease agreements, prepares wills, and manages powers of attorney and estate matters. Jacinta also provides support in family law matters such as divorce, property division following separation, arrangements for child contact, and child protection. Having lived in the North-West Coast almost her entire life except for a five-year university period, Jacinta has a deep understanding of the local community and its unique challenges. She is committed to guiding clients through the legal process with clarity and care to achieve favourable outcomes. Jacinta is an active member of the Family Law Practitioners of Tasmania Committee and has served on the board of the North West Community Legal Centre. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and reading.
