Mark Game

Mark Game is the founding partner of Aylward Game Solicitors in Brisbane and brings extensive legal experience across a broad spectrum of practice areas. Admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, Mark is also an active member of the Queensland Law Society. Before establishing Family Lawyers Mackay, Mark built his career within prominent national commercial law firms and served as Senior Legal Counsel for the Queensland Industry Development Corporation, now part of Suncorp Metway Limited. His diverse background includes comprehensive expertise in banking and finance law which underpins his focus on vendor finance arrangements. Mark’s practice covers property law and conveyancing, commercial and business law, commercial litigation and dispute resolution, as well as legal matters related to aged care facilities. His in-depth knowledge of vendor finance is notable, particularly regarding instalment sale contracts, lease options often known as "rent to own," assumptive options and leases, and more complex arrangements such as sandwich options and leases. In addition to his legal career, Mark holds a Queen’s Commission and served for over 20 years as an Infantry Corps Officer in the Australian Army Reserve, retiring from active service in 2001. This military background contributes to his practical, solutions-oriented approach to legal issues, enabling him to deliver pragmatic advice tailored to client needs.
