Marcus Adams

Marcus Adams is a Partner at Falcone & Adams Lawyers, where he has been integral to the firm since 1994. He commenced his legal career during his university studies, joining the practice in Emerald before being admitted to legal practice in 1996. In 1999, Marcus and Joseph Falcone formed a partnership, establishing the firm’s current presence. Marcus leads the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Building & Construction Law, Criminal Law & Intervention Orders, and Employment Law teams. He has extensive experience practising across multiple Australian jurisdictions, advising a diverse clientele that includes individuals, volume and boutique builders, property developers, project managers, independent contractors, sub-contractors, building owners, property consultants, surveyors, architects, and engineers. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Laws, both from Monash University Clayton, completed in the early 1990s. Outreach and community engagement have been longstanding aspects of Marcus’s career. Since relocating to the area in 1982, he has actively participated in numerous local organisations and business networks. Highlights include leadership roles within the Emerald and District Rotaract Club and Rotary Club, where he has served as President and received multiple honours such as the Rotary Foundation Paul Harris Fellow and its Sapphire advancement. Marcus has also been involved with the Business Network International Pakenham Chapter since its inception and has held the role of Chapter President. In addition to his professional pursuits, Marcus has contributed to the local sporting community through the Gembrook-Cockatoo Football Netball Club, where he has served on the committee and as Vice President, earning life membership in recognition of his commitment. His involvement with football extends to coaching junior teams and managing senior squads, leading to recognition as the Outer East Junior Coach of the Year in 2019. Marcus’s career reflects a commitment not only to his legal practice but also to fostering strong community and professional networks in the region.
