Michelle Oates is the Principal Solicitor and Founder of Connect Family Law, bringing over 14 years of experience as a generalist solicitor. Raised in a small mining town in South Australia, Michelle’s early commitment to helping others naturally developed into a passion for social justice and a career in law. She completed her studies at Flinders University, earning a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Justice. Motivated by a strong desire to support regional communities, which often face limited access to quality legal services, Michelle established her practice in Mildura, Victoria. While experienced across a broad range of legal matters, Michelle has devoted a significant portion of her practice to family law. She understands the profound trust clients place in her during challenging times, and she is committed to providing compassionate, clear guidance throughout the legal process. Michelle’s work with Connect Family Law reflects her dedication to delivering fair, accessible legal services and helping clients navigate their legal journeys with confidence and hope for a better future.
