Melissa Vine

Melissa Dianne Vine is the Principal Solicitor at her practice, bringing a depth of experience and commitment to client service. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong, complemented by a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner accreditation, and a Master of Laws with a focus on Applied Family Law. Melissa began her legal career practising across diverse areas including conveyancing, civil litigation, wills and estates, and family law, gaining valuable experience in the Sydney CBD, Wollongong, and her hometown of Nowra. Her dedication to meeting and exceeding client expectations led her to establish her own firm, initially specialising in family law services. In 2023, following the incorporation of her firm into Burbank & Brown Lawyers and Conveyancers, Melissa expanded her practice’s service offerings beyond family law, enhancing the support available to her clients. She is an active member of the NSW Law Society and the Women Lawyers Association of NSW. Melissa is recognised as a Domestic Violence Panel Solicitor and serves as an accredited Independent Children’s Lawyer. Beyond her legal practice, she contributes to the community through her role on the board of ROCC for Women and as a committee member of the Shoalhaven Business Chamber. Melissa’s postgraduate qualifications and practical experience in family dispute resolution and family law underpin her client-focused approach and effective resolution strategies, helping clients navigate complex legal matters with confidence.
