About Brendan

Brendan King is a founding partner of Belleli King & Associates, bringing extensive legal experience developed over many years. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Brendan served as a Court Registrar for nine years, gaining a broad understanding of court procedures and diverse areas of law. His practice encompasses a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on family law, criminal law, and small business disputes. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University and completed a Master of Laws in 2000, specialising in family law. He is admitted to practice as both a barrister and solicitor. Known for his strong advocacy skills, Brendan regularly appears in court and has contributed as a presenter at several legal seminars. Beyond his legal practice, Brendan is actively involved in the community. He serves on the boards of the charities Ties for Lives and Somebody’s Child, and volunteers with the Mentone Community Legal Service. Outside law, his interests include music and endurance sports. Brendan is multilingual, fluent in French, Greek, and Italian.
